ABOUT
'Investing in Rationality' is an endeavour to educate investors on personal finance - with a hope to demystify the world of investing and nudge them towards financial independence.
It is a collection of my thoughts and the lessons I have learnt from the books, essays, articles, and my own experiences - on topics related to investing & stock markets, human behavior & biases, personal finance, the quirky world we live in, and other things I ruminate about - with a touch of humour, sarcasm and geekiness.
It also serves as a tool to sharpen my understanding, and declutter my thoughts, in the process of writing these articles.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
The thought of starting this project started with discussions with my friends and family. While we are all educated on a number of subjects, and able to solve differential equations or write lines of complex code, we are never taught about the basic life skills of how to plan and manage our time and money, how to plan for retirement, or how to prepare ourselves to find and do something we like. And often, we take too much time figuring these things out, often making mistakes which set us back a few more years. Hence this venture was born, to spread awareness and educate on these topics and other things which I believe make life fulfilling.
